Building your personal brand is basically about showcasing your work so that people can get to know you. This way, when someone searches for something you are an expert in, they can easily find you. This will be of great help if you ever need a job, to get a speaking engagement, or to sell your talent.
Now, it can happen that we feel insecure about sharing our work, especially at the beginning, when we start. This is normal and is called “imposter syndrome”.
Another common condition is “Solomon syndrome ,” which is the fear of attracting attention. This happens when we feel insecure and think that we are not good enough.
But don't worry! Personal branding isn't about what you've accomplished or how tough you are. It's about sharing your knowledge with people to help them. You don't have to be the best in the world to post, just share what you know how to do.
When I realized that, it completely changed the way I shared my content. I got rid of that “fear” because I realized that it’s not about me and what I know, but about those who listen to me and how I can help them with what I know.
I hope this helps you gain confidence and encourages you to generate content. There are many people out there who may need what you know.
