Yes, administering a survey means taking the time to fusion database analyze the results, but sometimes stopping to reflect can make things better.

Using email to invite supporters to participate in a short survey is a good way to learn more about their opinions on the organization and understand the dynamics of participation and support. For our surveys here at DB to Data we use SurveyGizmo.

Follow up
This is one of our favorites! When someone takes a desired action—like donating, signing a petition, or attending an event—it’s important to keep the conversation going with a follow-up email.

In many cases this process can be automated through triggers set up in your CRM, in this case we also talk about transactional emails, that is, part of a process or transaction. In any case, always consider adding personality to your messages if you cannot do it personally: follow-up emails are an excellent way to provide information and calls to action that, with good certainty, will be read.

In your follow-up emails, always remember to include links so that your supporter can share their action with their friends, inviting them to do it too!

Thank you Message
It is a variant of the previous one: follow up. Running a non-profit organization means dealing very often with gratitude towards those who help make a project possible: we are talking about donations, sponsorships, volunteers and technical partners. All aspects that allow an organization to move forward successfully.
