Business training in Brazil
Actions focused on corporate education can bring several benefits to organizations, but in our country there is still a lot to invest in this area. Monitoring the situation, the 13th edition 2018/2019 of the Panorama do Treinamento no Brasil (prepared by Integração Escola de Negócios, in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Training and Development - ABTD and Carvalho & Mello Consultoria Organizacional) provides some details on the current reality of the sector.

Compared to the previous study, there was a decrease in companies' investments in training and development. However, the researchers believe that the small variation in this amount during periods of crisis means that the segment is gaining more relevance in Brazil - which is very positive.

However, compared to other countries, there is a big difference: according to research in the United States, the annual investment in training and development is US$1,273 per employee, while here it is R$746.

This shows how Brazilian companies are understanding the importance of training in organizations, even if slowly and still far from more consolidated markets, such as the US. Therefore, it is worth reinforcing how and why these actions are so important.
