At the meeting of the budget planning commission, the main forecast indicators of the socio-economic development of the Tambov region for 2025-2027 and the draft regional budget were considered.

For 9 months of 2024, the consolidated budget revenues of the region were executed in the amount of 62.7 billion rubles, with a growth of 6%. During this period, expenses amounted to 61.3 billion rubles, which is 7 percent higher than last year's level. This was reported by the Government of the region.

The growth of the regional economy ensures an annual increase in the share of the region’s own revenues in the consolidated budget.

Budget revenues for the next year from tax and non-tax income are projected to be 45.7 billion rubles, which is 3.3% higher than the 2024 estimate. The draft budget of the Tambov Region has been approved by the Ministry of Finance of Russia. At the same time, a feature of budgets at all levels for the next three years will be the implementation of new national projects.

As Acting Deputy Head of Tambov Oblast, Minister of Finance of the region Lyubov Tretyakova said, the document provides the necessary funds to fulfill the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, outlined in the decree on national goals. This is the implementation of new national projects, support for families with children, increasing salaries of public sector employees, providing social support measures to various categories of the population. Thus, an increase in the minimum wage in public sector institutions is envisaged in accordance with the new level - 22,440 rubles from January 1, 2025, will affect 18.5 thousand employees of the budget sector of the region.
