I think this is the first time I've used this word, cracks, to refer to people (and not to a bad financial situation or to an onomatopoeia of breakup), because I think there is no other word that sums up the quality of the speakers at the event. On Thursday, November 5, Madrid trembled with pleasure at the MAD09 Forum , where the central theme was tourism marketing, dealt with from the perspectives of:
Jack Trout , Raúl Peralba , Chris Foie, Mike de Vries, Wendy cash app data user list Harch, Alfonso Castellanos , Juan Diego Oliva, Gaby Castellanos , Icaro Moyano , Martin Lindstrom , Eulogio Bordas, Rafael Urbano, Rohit Barghava and Enrique Ruiz de Lera.

I was able to follow the event via streaming (with very good sound and image quality). The program was more than tempting with topics such as Repositioning, Benchmarking, Social Networks & Social Media and Neuromarketing.
I leave here some phrases that are decisive, enlightening, common sense, innovative... in short, to keep in mind:
Repositioning
R. Peralba: Where there is a corporate war and everyone is competing with everyone else, you have to focus not only on being the best, but also on being perceived as the best. Working on the brand/product/service image and its perception are fundamental.
J. Trout: It is about getting into the consumer's mind, generating a positive perception, with results for the brand/company. When will these results be seen? It is not yet known, but certainly not in the short term.
Social Networks and Social Media
G. Castellanos (Mr. Burns): Social media is NOT: a panacea, a one-way conversation, a fad, a place for freaks. It is the here and now, an opportunity to interact with millions of people, who spend a lot of time on them every day (4:39 minutes on Facebook) and who buy through these media (Mr. Burns sold 500 of his own merchandising products in 36 hours, with an average spending per consumer of €43, thanks to an application for his brand developed on Facebook).
