"If you don't know who your audience is, who are you going to sell to?" is one of the important phrases that was highlighted during our last #QuánticoAcademy : "Online Sales 101: The Step from Social Media to e-Commerce", by Fernando D' Alessio, Co-Founder of Linio.com.pe.

2nd Quantico Academy «Internet Sales»

Fernando D'Alessio , a lecturer at the course, told a little about his personal experience before entering the world of digital business. His beginnings as a journalist and his contact with the business world led him to analyze the market, little by little in depth, and see the opportunity to undertake a new form of commerce at the forefront of technology. Much of his experience abroad and the broad vision obtained after working with great businessmen were determining factors of "the opportunity."

Below we share the main learnings from the second edition of our #QuánticoAcademy:

“If you can’t monetize your model, it won’t be successful”: Every business model should aim to win.
"If you don't know who your audience is, who are you minnesota accountants email lists to sell to?" You have to study and know the client well, that's the first thing.
-«Success starts with innovation»: In the e-commerce models that have emerged over time, you always have to offer something that no one else has, something different. It is part of the risk, but only in this way can success be measured.
“Assortment, low prices and convenience/service are the pillars of success”: Combining these three elements can lead to business success. However, a fourth pillar (logistics) can also make a difference in the development of the service, and it is something that not all business models apply. For Linio, the “logistics” pillar was the biggest challenge.
«Content is key, an important element because it generates conversion: It attracts, seduces, convinces»: The importance of generating good content is an important piece to reach your audience, so investing in it is worth it.
«In e-commerce, payment methods are being innovated.» In Peru, credit card and internet penetration is low, but the future promises that new platforms will be created to adapt to electronic devices.
The components of a successful e-Commerce are: Team Management, Suppliers and Consumers. The flow of these 3 components with the Business Plan, plus capital, plus supply, demand and competition, show you the path and the future of the business.
«All campaigns should be measured, as it allows you to create a better marketing strategy»: Posts, blogs, social media, videos, campaigns, paid search, paper click, news letters, banners/rich media, among others.
